Minor aesthetic mods on grill, rims and emblems.
Hey everyone! New member here and this is my first post! So I bought my Taco (2019 TRD Off Road) over a year ago and have done some slight mods to it. Nothing major like raising it just small aesthetic changes like replacing the emblems from chrome to black. I bought new rims which really made the look come together. My end goal is to black it out, giving it a sleek dark tone. I did switch out the grill to a Pro style grill because the lettering was darker and it is mostly black. This did change the height of my front end sensor. Which leads me to my question.

I want to add a grill/brush guard to my Taco. But after doing some research online and at local body shops, I cannot find a one that would be compatible with the front end sensor. Does anyone know of any guards out there that will work with the sensor? Or do I need to mod the guard somehow? Or should I just give up on the idea all together?

I added some pics so you can see what I'm working with.

lol, grille/brush guard has been talk about a lot up here in TW. Most are not a big fan of and wouldn’t recommend one. I had one and it doesn’t offer much protection on my 07. I got a hiline bumper for my 21. Get a real bumper. As long as nothing is in front of the sensor, you should be fine.

Grille guards are about as fashionable as polyester leisure suits. They were, then they weren't, then someone tried to bring them back for the irony, then everyone kinda forgot about them.

If you want to look rugged now, its all about the bumper replacement.

Be sure to wear the bright red recovery shackles as nipple rings too.

You could always get a vanguard bush bar, but have no idea if it affects your sensors.
