I bought an aftermarket grille that doesn't work with the oem grille clips. Does anyone have ideas other than zip ties?

Might want to try mucking with the clip openings on the grille. I have an aftermarket grille off of ebay (just got around to installing, ordered a few years ago). It didn't work with the cheap clips i ordered off of Amazon. Ended up having to order OEM clips and they worked perfectly. Really odd.

    or,

    zip ties :(
