Grille Emblem $9 Ready to Ship

Sorry I stopped watching this thread when mine was received (which I posted about HERE) and realized it didn't fit my '21 OR grille, so it's been passed along to @SDTaco19 who should be receiving it in the next day or so according to the tracking.

So hey, as to an apology to the seller, I'm still waiting for someone to show me where I disparaged him or accused him of not doing what he said he did. I just re-read my posts on this thread, and as I said before shipping was painfully slow which according to most of the comments on this thread that seems to have been (and still is) the case, but nothing more than that. What was uncalled for were his shitty comments to me via PM, but I let that slide without calling for an apology, public or private.

I also know that at least a couple of people have opened a Paypal dispute, which I NEVER did, so maybe save the pitchforks and torches for them and leave me out of this.

However I am sorry that the seller has had to deal with all of these shipping issues, but that's what happens when you step up from being a person-to-person 1 item seller to selling to the masses - customers want to know where their items are when they have paid for them. I don't envy his position, but I'm not going to apologize for something I didn't do to make a few anonymous forum members feel better.

I made a little modification to fit on my '21 TRD Off Road. Used black shrink tube on the bolt so it wont show on the grill.

 

Take a picture from farther away. I thought about there but I’m not convinced 100%.

 

So I couldn’t get this situated on the 2019 OR grille to my liking, so it now resides on my 2014 Iceberg FJ - and I like the way it turned out. Just need to straighten it out a bit now that I look at the photo.

Nope. The screws are plenty long. Just don't over-tighten them.

 

If he couldn’t handle waiting 10 days for a $9 part stuck in shipping limbo without an active tracking number, I doubt he had the mental capacity to install or try to install said part. He’s probably kicking his dog as we speak still pissed off thinking about the entire ordeal.

Did anyone still not receive theirs?

I was part of one of the earlier groups purchasing these. I paid the OP on February 1st and have since asked OP for a tracking number 3 times without getting one. He responded once saying he will get back to me the next day with it but I never heard. I haven’t wanted to pester him as I know the delays with shipping are out of his control. I see he has not been online since Wednesday of last week. Has anyone been able to get word? I’d still like to get the badge but at this point it has been over 6 weeks. Not sure if he forgot to send mine or what.

 

You can use a little bit of black shrink wrap to cover part of the screws showing on the grill. That's what I did.

 

That sucks. Maybe try sending an email to the PayPal email. He did have a death in his family, and said he wouldn’t be available much.
