Grille mesh

Anyone have a satoshi grille with the large diamond mesh instead of the more common small diamond mesh? I'm wondering how that would look. I'm sure it would make all of the stuff behind the grille more visible, but if you paint that stuff with black BBQ paint it seems like it would look pretty cool.

Never seen the large mesh and I can see why. It's bad enough trying to paint behind the grille to keep from seeing the radiator, horn, etc.. on the small diamond mesh. I can't see how you are able to hide those items on the large mesh, especially in broad daylight. I would stay with the small diamonds. The goal is to have a clean mesh grille with a clean black background.

 

Yeah, but I've seen some F150s and Titans that have large diamond mesh-like grilles and they look good IMO. Granted they are OEM grilles with some depth, not just a thin piece of metal. And not all trucks will look the same with similar equipment, but still I would really like to see how it looks on a Tacoma.
