I'm planning to install the Grom Aux cable with the Ipod V2 cable onto my stock radio (2006 Tacoma w/ 6-disc non-JBL).
I wanted to ask anyone who had this setup. Will I be able to use the steering wheel controls to skip music and adjust volume on the Ipod? The Grom website states that the 6 Discs will still be playable, but how do you select to the Ipod mode?

thanks for those fast responses! i think i might be ordering one here soon, for now it just seems like a cheap alternative to the $600 radio i am looking at getting.

I've had mine for about 6 months and it's great. Like others have said, You can switch songs from the steering wheel and also on disc 8 you can manually switch them through the ipod/iphone.

I have the multi-cd changer stock stereo so when you flip through the "discs" to disc 8 it switches to a direct mode and the screen on the ipod unlocks and allows manual changing from the ipod. I am unfamiliar with any other stereo.
