So ground the throttle body to the frame instead of the battery. Grounding to the negative of the battery just sounds like a horrible idea. If that throttle body comes in contact with anything positive, you could toast it. Ground it to the frame and see if you still maintain the same results. If you really think you got results, nothing should change.

ok but grounding it wont do anything is all im saying. the motor inside is grounded already or else it wouldn't work. grounding the actual throttle body will not change anything.

We had grounding straps on some of the munition carrying vehicles (jammers) in the AF. just a little strap comming off the bottom of the rig touching the ground, just to make sure any static electricity was discharged away from the munitions.

+1 for you, cry baby :p

We had a big Air conditioning cart hooked out to our plane the other day and the metal bars that are there to hold the bank of batteries in place became loose and make contact with several of the pos and neg terminals and than touched the exhaust manifold. In a matter of seconds it had welded it self to the manifold and was glowing red.

I never said I got results. I'm just defending the OP- I even said, the results I felt are probably more psychosomatic than anything else, twice, but said I was going to leave it on for the hell of it (if you read back).

I did this mod to the frame, actually the chassis ground, in the first place actually.. Here is a picture of mine-

None, I had to hammer a screwdriver through the last one I put in to get it to come off (I couldn't get my oil filter wrench in there with my right arm), so I got the K&N because of the nut on the top and I love it.

    Hilarious joke, though.
