If you read on back through the interwebs, a few people have found batches & bought these new - on eBay.

If I were that close to the seller, I'd take my Fluke and check the four pins illustrated in the fsm. But yeah. I hear you on being skeptical on him. No warranty on eBay is a redflag.

One guy got samples and they were not the correct ones and another one said he could get them in batches of 300 at $40 a piece.
I ask the guy were he got the 3 he is selling on eBay and he said Hong Kong. No one has them or can even get them and 3 just show up on eBay. Who knows they may work but Im not willing to pay $99.95 to find out.

    Hi All,
i've run into the same problem and found 3 threads on this, but seems this thread is the latest and greatest post. Was there any resolve to this? my local yoda dealer say $1187.00 for the sensor and throttlebody. the other options were bone yards andto pull out the sensor and put it back on... i guess this is to reset the calibration or something. Also i believe from other threads that the 89452-30150 from the Lexus was a no go, but what was the out come from the 89452-22080? i think this was from the Tundra/camry or something. Thanks in advance

Well just to add a possible solution. @mechanicjon i would look into the possibility of a Subaru TPS sensor working. They share a lot of the same parts with Toyota’s. Just food for thought. I haven’t looked at wiring yet, but I do know a lot of them were 4 wire tps

Ordered the Throttle Position Sensor from PartsGeek.com got it next day and it is the 89452-35030 part # needed for the 2003, 2004 Tacoma. Installed it and it works great. So now there is a way to get the sensor without having to buy the entire throttle body.
