Just got off the phone with Dan. Shipping today (5-pack plus goodies and rear Billies). He's packing orders....

    :yay:

The front Billies are on back order, still expecting a couple weeks.

    :jerkoff:

    That's on Bilstein, not Wheeler's.

Totally. Take out your tape measures, too! Before and after MEASUREMENTS. We are going to gather gold for a sticky thread in suspension for other folks to benefit from our hard work when they face the same issue...aren't we?

I was able to find in the 2003 FSM the correct method, reference points, and specs for measuring height based on your truck's exact model code (on your door frame sticker). I think I even extracted that PDF page and have it on my home machine. I will post that as soon as I can for those who are interested and want to geek out. It would let you see 1. How your truck differs from it original (when new) stock height before the mod and 2. your actual height over stock after the mod.

So theoretically, we would have 3 measurements:
    1. spec as new
    2. existing before mod
    3. after mod

Sorry, I work with engineers all day. I'll go play with a slide rule now.

I know...lots of guys seem to go running away from me. I don't understand why:eek:

I would be interested in the info since i know that I'm probably running below stock height due to the sag.

and I work with architects and contractors all day, I'm going to go bang my head against the wall some more...

Crap! I meant to call Dan yesterday and time got away. Just remembered they're not open on Friday. Oh well, Gonna be waiting on billies anyway, so no biggie.

And, scocar, count me in on getting pics and measurements. We def need to make a good how-to on this. I'm sure I will be able to contribute a lot of "Don't do it this way".
