Guessing mine are gonna go out next week... :( Haven't gotten any sort of confirmation as yet and I didn't get to call Dan yesterday.

I'll participate in the measuring.. why not.

Bummer, dude. It will come soon enough...

Yeah, you should definitely share measurements, because you have DC...

It would be sweet if we could get a wide range of truck spec. w/ different cabs, engines, pre-runner, 4wd, etc.

I'll get some measurements tomorrow, front and rear (since I'll be doing the whole way around anyway.) Just gotta remember to take the tape measure with me when I go out.

OK, if you really want to geek out, here are the two FSM sections (keep in mind, this is only the 2003 FSM) that show you what your truck's stock new height spec is based on the model code inside your door frame, which will be something like this:

    RZN196L–PRPDKAB

FSM SA-63 provides all the suspension and axle spec by body/model type. Look up your "RZN196L–PRPDKAB" number in there starting on page SA-64 to get the your truck's stock new ride height numbers.

FSM SA-10 illustrates the measuring points (ABCD).

If you don't have stock tire sizes listed in SA-63, of course, you have to factor this in.

This thread might help you with that:

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/wheels-tires/23715-how-understand-metric-tire-sizes.html

Of course, you could also just measure from the ground to the (edit) top center edge of the wheel well if you just want to do a quick-and-easy comparison between before and after height.

It think it would rock if we get enough of you to provide solid spec from each model type (reg cab, Xtra cab, DC, and then 2wd and 4wd, and also 2.7L and 3.4L), especially for folks doing front end work because of the 5-leaf lift.

Here is the suggested order of information (trying to capture all relevant factors) so it is consistent and easier for all of us (and other TWers) to understand:

    Year | Cab/Body | 2WD/4WD | Engine | Mileage | Stock Height (F&R) | Current Height (F&R) | After Install Height (F&R) | Tire size | New Leaf Type | New Coil Type | Other (shackles, blocks, etc.)

This may be too much effort for some of you who just want to get back on the road, but it would be cool if some of us have the patience to pull it off.

Got mine also. Threw them in yesterday, took about 45 mins per side. Pretty easy, but i do have air and a forklift that i lifted the back of the truck with:D
Sorry no before measurements as there was a block in there. But i can get an after measurement. Haven't driven it yet as the front of the truck is still in pieces waiting for the safari snokel to arrive

You bastard, with your fancy air and forklift! I have about zero room in my tiny 1-car garage and narrow driveway to do this kind of work. I think I am going to have to head up to Auburn, where my airplane buddies have lots of room...and air and forklifts... But I'm not doing that until the front Billies show up anyway. I think I will slap on the rear Billies if I have time this week just to see how much they improve things.

Because of the large number of orders for the 5 leaf packs, we ran out of springs. More are on the way and will be shipping soon.

Ok - I see a few of you are waiting to install your springs and such after your Bilsteins arrive. I did get rear Bilsteins with my leaf packs and wonder if it would be nuts to do the rear end first knowing I won't be able to do the front end (springs and 5100s) for a few weeks after. This is my only vehicle so I will obviously need to drive it. Any harm in driving this pup around with a rebuilt ass end and shot to hell suspension in the front?
