The frame was inspected by toyota (even though I knew it was ok), the frame was coated with some type of dupont teflon coating when the truck was new.

I said that "I would guess the body (frame) is damaged". We are working on this issue. We cannot just ship out a new leaf pack (expensive to ship and cost of parts), then find out that the leaf pack was not the issue. Thank you for sending us the information we need to work on getting the situation resolved. We will continue to be in contact.

and Matt, if Dan's not getting answers fast enough just let me know. I haven't gotten to nag anyone for awhile, I'd be happy to step in and help out. I'm good at that.

Watch out, Matt. She has changed her sig to one that does not include sexual innuendo, so she could either be your best ally or worst enemy, depending on what you say, or don't say, or which way the wind is blowing, or isn't blowing...

I am sure you'll reach a good resolution on this issue. CA to NJ is a long way to ship heavy stuff ($$$$), and Dan likely has to work out something with Alcan (since they built the spring), so just everyone settle down before Lisa hurts someone, whether intentionally or unintentionally...or emotionally or physically...

Like Dan said, he can't just up and ship out a new set of springs (or just the one leaf pack).. He has to be able to go back to Alcan with proof that the spring failed/weakened. So, don't everyone just jump on the guy.. remember, he did us all a solid giving us the discount for the group buy. Some of us have had issues, but for everyone that didn't to jump in.. that's a little unfair. Besides, he is responding, as seen above. :)

I hope it gets resolved quickly.

FWIW...I was being sarcastic with my earlier comment. Much like 90% of what I post here on TW. Scocar caught that, I'm sure YotaDan did too. But I am good at nagging, that I'm not joking about :D

Gary Wheeler has been talking to me helping me to try and solve my passenger side lean that my Tacoma had developed with the 4 packs, my suspicion was that the one spring was weaker than the other side.

The new 5 pack (which just arrived yesterday) went on very easy, the truck is now level in the rear, here are a few pictures of the new (but now old) 4 pack springs (the lower one of which is the passenger side).

Yes I had to pay return shipping plus the difference in price between the 4 and 5 pack.

So you "upgraded" to the 5-pack in th eprocess? I assume they honored the original 15% group buy discount on the 5-pack too?

    PS: truck looks good!

Yes I got the 5 pack because I wanted something a little stronger, Gary did honor the original group buy.
    Thanks!

Cool. I am very pleased with the 5-pack, both on- and off-road. I finally got a chance to work it out on some fairly serious (for me) Sierra trails, and I am now glad I had a little extra clearance. Overall daily driver handling is a lot better too.

Yay! I am not sure, but I think getting offroad in some Sierra dust actually made mine quieter...

I'll be posting some, uh, "flex" pics from the trip as soon as I have time to download and manage the 1200 pictures I took on my trip...I went up to Laurel Lake, Dunderberg/Kavanaugh Ridge area, and down Silver Canyon, which by god is the steepest thing I have ever been down in my life, including the steepest streets in San Franciso. It drops from 10,500 ft to 7200 ft in about 2 miles. Most of it was prolonged 2nd and sometimes 1st gear low range, sheer drops for a couple thousand feet all along the narrow, loose shelf road...I was laughing--nervously--it was so ridiculous.
