I just finished a group buy for the Z110BT.

I was wanting another unit for Wifey's car but they ran out. I got an email from the sales guy asking if I wanted the DNX6960 and the IPOD cable KCA-iP301V for $750 . I was interested but he said that he needs a minimum of 8 units to be sold at that price. The DNX7160 and the IPOD cable is available for 1050.

    The internet dealer is http://www.al-eds.com.

As they are an authorized internet dealer Kenwoods warranty will not be void , you get your MIR and a 2 year warranty.

    Here is the information.
    1) Go to www.al-eds.com
    2) Add the DNX6960/DNX7160 and the KCA-IPOD301V to you cart.
    3) Check out using the coupon code dev300.
    4) If you are getting the DNX7160 and the IPOD cable. The use the coupon code ken390
    5) Pay using paypal or a credit card.

    Jay

Enjoy. Please PM me if you have any issues else feel free to use the coupon code. The coupon code will automatically expire after 8 uses. I have used 1 for myself. So there are 7 more to be used.

But Amazon will take anything back almost eternally if you gripe enough. No need for warranty. Amazon is my account at work and we have returns that they honored for sales over 2 years old and they try to return it to us after refunding the customer but we say no!

Grillcraft Uppers and Lowers installed. Wish-List: TRD CAI and TRD exhaust, TRD Supercharger In 2012 when truck is paid off: 3" lift and new tires (possibly wheels as well)
Seabass: That may be true, but the fact is he is still beating Amazons pricing (since you get the Mail-in Rebate) with it...

I was in the Z110BT group buy and was extremely happy with Al-Eds and the rebate seems to be fine as well (I checked the rebate today actually at www.rebateshq.com and it states my rebate has been approved and is in the final stage for payment distribution).

I had some of the same questions raised when I had the Z110BT group buy.

I am sure there are people/stores who are selling any Unit that a authorized dealer sells for a little bit less. With an authorized dealer you don't have issues with support or mail in rebates.

Right now with the MIR for 100 dollars from kenwood I don't think one will find a better net price.

I would suggest to everyone to research the buyer and the store before you send your money across to them.

Roger that, rubber ducky. I'm just impatient and I don't trust MIRs at all. I've only received 50% of them at best, even when submitted in plenty of time with all the right docs. Too much hassle for me to save just a couple bucks and have to wait 3 months for the check.

I ordered the DNX7160 just yesterday and the code was still valid. I'm really excited to get this in. The audio store here in town wanted to charge me 1800 for the same unit. Thanks for the heads up jayshahu!
