So I run kings, with uniball upper/lowers. In the rear I have kings, dakars-uol removed, ride rites and daystar cradles.

I know with a steel bumper and winch + lights and extra battery I'm gona want bumps to soften the ride. So front is a gimme.

The rear is where I'm torn. Not sure I can get away with both bags and bumps. I see no real way to mount both w.o heavy fabrication. The bags perform as an equivalent bumpstop to factory. But the hydro would be SOOO much softer. The current set up is functional, just not pleasant.

    :annoyed:

Preference for some. Many don't with a mid travel set up, but some do. I know I did. These are PERFECT for the rear with a mid trael set up. As mentioned before, many companies like king and TC offer a bolt on mount as part of their production line, but are very pricey. Around $500. So there are a few options you could do if you decide to go with these bumps. 1) you could buy a mount that bolts onto a factory location in the rear, but are going to spend some dough as these are pricey from other vendors. 2) you could weld the can to the frame ( many have done this when buying locks bumps ) 3) Locked is currently in production with getting mounts made that will permanently be a part of their production line. These will be cheaper than what others offer, and if you hop into this group buy, you will have the opportunity to purchase these mounts when they become available, at the same discount you received the bumps at.

Yes, like you mentioned the fronts are definitely a go for you. As far as the rear goes, are your bags directly on top of the leaf springs or inside the frame rail?

We are at 8 people, 9 sets up bumps. Once we get 11 sets, it becomes 20%

Mounts are about 1 month out. 2 max but we don't anticipate it being 2 months out.

You could easily run them on the inside of the frame and bump it off a strike plate off the axle.

I don't have any pics of Locks bumps mounted. Weve had guys buy them and put them on the rear, but haven't received any pics. Not sure I could gather any in this short amount of time
