Anyone? Are the front bumps for long travel only?

Not just for long travel. You can use them for a mid travel set up too.

Not that I don't want you to get in on this. But I would recommend against hydro bumps in the front on a mid travel. The rear Definitely yes! Front not so much. I am going to hydro my front but I'm going long travel.

Agreed. Hydro bumps will work for the front, but can live without

I ran hydro's on my old truck with a mid travel set up and they were fine, but hydro's are definitely more for the rear in a mid travel set up

Also note please I am not a subject matter expert. I'm just saying from what I've read. Lots of people on here better at suspension than me... maybe everybody...

Lol not disagreeing with you. He would be fine running the hydros in the front, but he'd also be okay with not running them too. Kind of mixed feelings about it

Thanks for your input i just hadnt seen any midtravel trucks running front bumps. I really want to get the rears but was looking for bolt on application. Can you rebuild this unit if its welded on, meaning rebuilding without cutting it off?

Typically the mounts are welded in; the bump itself bolts to the mount. No?

Some weld the mounts on. Companies like TC and King make a bolt on mounts that bolt into a factory location in the rear. Locked right now does not have a mount as part of their production line, but will soon. The other option is welding the can, which others do with locks bumps.
