    Is Anyone able to physically compare an '05-'07 Tailgate to an '08-'10 Tailgate to see why the EZDown is only sold for the '05-'07? Or does anyone already know the difference?

    I'd still like to get an answer to the question in post #126.
    '05-'07 vs. '08-'10 Tailgate Difference.
    I don't have access to a '05-'07 to look at
    I took pics of mine (2010), but they didn't show what I can see.
    I'm thinking that due to the "Bent Tailgate" Issues of a few years back, parts of the tailgate were strengthened / re-enforced. This reinforcement may have taken up some of the void that's needed for the EZDown. The '10 Tailgate Cables are only about 12" long and there seems to be only about 7" of vertical space from the hinge to install a EZDown. It's also quite narrow. If the EZDown Piston is more than about 6" long and 3/4" in diameter, I don't see room for it.

    Anyone with some input ????
