Group buy: Pop N Lock Tailgate Lock (Ends April 08, 2009)

Roy...not sure of your specific part # but I bought a dynolock several years ago for my 04 Tundra Double cab and it STINKS!!!...it does NOT actively lock the tailgate but actuates a pin which blocks the handle from traveling upwards preventing the tailgate from opening...ONE QUICK HARD JERY and you'll shear the polymer block that is held by two tiny screw and your in the tailgate!!!....you can see my comments on it over at tundrasolutions.com in my photo gallery (username pistolpete)

Great letter to the company and a promising response!

If he can stay true to his word, they will sit high on my list of reputable companies. Even if they hit snags, open communication is respectable. It has to be frustrating and expensive to have to alter your product every time a company changes their product.

Imagine the cost to P&L, who had a great working product for pre-09 trucks. All the research, design, testing, legal jazz, etc - I'm sure it's a mind boggling process.

My comment was not intended as anything negative toward you Daniel. This is my first participation in a group buy and I find it amazing that after someone like you busts their ass to help others there is still almost 25% of those who committed to the buy have yet to pay. Maybe this is normal for a group buy but I think it is pretty cheesy for someone to commit to a group buy then not pay or at least inform you that they have changed their mind.
