What about the flat rate envelopes? They are 12 1/2" by 9 1/2" and go for $4.95. I can't imagine that the lock is so delicate that it needs the extra protection of a box.

That is what I used for the PL5200s. I have a bunch left and the only way to fit them in is to take them out of the clam shell

Like most here, I've been waiting for these things for something like 6 months now. I am so ready for this to be done with. Since I am not in the mood to search back through 1000+ posts, why don't you just let me know your address and the amount ($3.00?) I need to send the check to.

    Daniel,
Let us know if the PL5300 will not fit in the USPS boxes. So that we can make other arrangements. Thanks

seems the easiest way to do it, and can't imagine anyone would have a problem with it...

I purchased my PL5300 on ebay and it was shipped to me in a bag from Cananda and it arrived in great shape. I can't remember if the bag was plastic or a rip resistant paper like Tyvek.

Edited: It was shipped in the bag with the clamshell pack inside the bag.

Personally, I am OK with either removal from the clamshell to bag-ship or the extra $3.00. Just let me know if I need to pony up.

Of course there is anouther snag. Thanks for trying to find a solution that doesn't involve more money, that would create more problems in trying to collect 3 dollars from each person...
However, if you need more money don't hesitate to ask, we need to get this thing over with!

Daniel, I know this group buy has tested the patience of all involved, especially you. The delay with receiving these locks has obviously not been your fault. However, right now you have in your possession property which belongs to several members of the board that have paid you many months ago, and you are not giving us any information. I, along with others, have stated that if you would just let us know what the difference in shipping is, we'll send you another check. You need to do the right thing and get this wrapped up.

    PropJet,
I don't think that he has had time to get them shipped. He is probably in class and hopefully we will here something from him soon.

The difference is about $3. If you want to send checks or whatever that is fine with me. I am going to try and make up the rest of the difference with the remaining locks
