    Ive been looking around on TW for a group winch buy and have had no luck. I don't really know how get one started for the simple fact that Ive never done one.

    I figured I would at least throw out the idea and see how many people would be interested in going in on it.

    Way to start one: Find a winch production company that everyone likes (Warn, smittybuilt, etc) and figure out what kind of winches folks are interested in. Then contact a dealer (there are several that are vendors on the site) and see what they can do for you.

    High dollar items tend to be harder to get group buys on just because you need to get people to commit and that is hard some times.

    my new SuperWinch 9.0 S gets here tomorrow. Paid $774, shipping included, at Amazon.com. Would have been nice to save a few bucks... good luck
