Thats exactly what I was looking for. Where did you mount your amp? Under a seat or in the driver side cubby?

 

Under driver seat. Lc7i is under the passenger.


I went on the cheap with the amp. May be upgrading shortly.

 

Awesome, okay I am in for the group buy OP. Gonna bite the bullet and do a full sound system probably. Is the LC7i necessary with a five channel amp? How hard was doing the install yourself?

 

I never had done a full install before and managed to do it all myself. It can be done. Took my time but when I was done it was amazing. Gave me enough confidence to install a switch-pro and a bunch of other stuff


The lc7i might be needed. It's going to depend on if you amp can take input directly from the head unit. There are lots of options.

 

Hey guys. The factory radio pushes the amp and this stealthbox just fine. The sound quality is excellent. I also installed C1-690tx on the front, C1-650x on the rear and C2-075ct tweeters. The sound is crisp and clear. The amp is installed in the driver's side cubby.

You guys will not be disappointed at the build and sound quality of this stealthbox. I'm a JL audio employee and we used my 2017 DCSB SR5 to build this box. The box looks like it originally came with the truck. Here are some clear pictures of this stealthbox box and amp installed.

How does this sub sound compared to the 13tw5? I had my Marv make me a box special for the 13tw5 and it shakes things I just had to remove the panel for it all to fit.
