Greeting folks, I got my 2004 PreRunner just over a year ago. When I bought it, the guy had 165’s on her and when I went to buy some new ones I figured, ah what the hell, I like the look of them, I’ll put some back on there. Well, little did I know how big of a difference it would make since the new tires I got had a bit more tread on them and immediately began to rub on the plastic inside the wheel well to the point when I’m pulling into a space in the parking lot, it would literally turn heads. I’ve tried trimming back the plastic, grinding the metal down a bit, to no avail. It continues to grumble in the majority of turns. I’ve had a friend who’s a bit more savvy with Toyotas than I am and said I should get a 2” lift kit on it to get rid of the noise. Anyone out there have any experience with these kits or other solutions I haven’t considered yet BESIDES getting new tires. Thanks in advance. :transformer:

You best bet is to call them and discuss your options with them, they are the experts in this area.
