Pics are usually taken with My D7000 using either the kit lens or a 1.8 50mm.

Took the Truck the back way to Inde Motorsports Ranch This Saturday to shoot some pics at a Track day. Nothing too special but a cool dirt road with lots of curves and some high speed sections. The dirt way is always better then the freeway....

    Some pics...

Any plans on a LT or do you like the way it rides as is? I'm trying to determine if I want to just do a regular lift, Mid-Travel, and or LT mine out when I buy it. What do you have as far as lift right now?

I like any one who has cruised this site has considered LT. I love the look of glass fenders and long travel but I always come back to the desire to get out explore and use this truck on trips. Living in AZ allows me to have tons of desert to play in so the end goal is to build a full sized Long travel Truck (LS based Chevy) When I priced out just going long travel on this truck I was floored by the cost compaired to Mid travel.

Doing long travel right is expensive. So goal for this truck is to use it. Enjoy it, Daily drive it, and travel with it.

Right now the truck is set with about 2 turns over what the Icons come from the factory as. I goal was to keep the tires from killing the fenders, it didn't work.

Mid Travel works really well for my multi use truck. I would point anyone to a Icon set up.

I just read an article last night in the 4wd Toyota Owner magazine on some with the Stage 2 Icon and uca...They were in love with the thing all the way around. I'm curious as to why not many people on here have ICON. I like the look and the stance of them.

Thanks, now I think its time to enjoy it for a while and work on the Evo a little. Then once I now what I don't like I can do that later.

    Yeah...

I think the 4" are coming out of the grill soon. Just installed 55watt HID's in the headlights as well as the Fogs. So the small LED lights do nothing now. They may make there way on to the Evo for some Night Track Events.

    Thanks

Lest year the Widfe and I jumped in our Z06 and headed for the coast...

She really wanted to dive the 1 in the z06, so we did. The qwhole trip I was wishing we had the truck the Vette was fun on the highway when we where not stuck in traffic but one we where stopped or looking at isolated beaches to visit it was obvious we where in the wrong car.

We started the trip around 1:30 in Tucson. Headed out to LA for Mitsubishi Owner's Day. We have 2 Evos as well. The drive up is pretty uneventfull basically follow I10 all the way.

I put the truck in road trip mode for this trip. The camper shell was painted flat black as opposed to the blue it was on our Moab trip.

We left LA after MOD and got stuck in 3 hours of this....

All I wanted to do was get the the 1 and follow the coast to Santa Barbra. We made it as far as Ventura and decided to stop for the night. Next day was 8 hours of this...

Not bad at all... But man the 1 moves slow at times.

We made it to Half Moon Bay where we quickly realized that Northern California is nothing like Southern California. Neither of us had been past the central coast until that point. We where unprepared for the cold. In Tucson it was 110 so I had one sweat shirt and she had some light long sleeved shirts. Oh well no camping.

Shot from the hotel at Half Moon Bay harbor. This is where I realized my HID bulbs had blown out. Less then 4 months old from DDM, still not sure if they are going to replace them.

From Half moon bay we drove thru San Francisco and over the golden gate bridge. I pulled over on the over looks for some pics....

Leaving the golden Gate we opped for the 101 and a night in Fort Bragg. Wow Fort Brag is small. And it was cold.

Leaving fort bragg we headed to the USAL road turn off for a quick trip in to the lost coast... We will return for a longer stay this place was amazing for us Desert folk.

We left the Lost coast in search of some Redwoods...

Got to drive thru tree park. Had to get the truck thru. The wife did a great job considering we where pretty much the largest truck to go thru that day...

From there it was back down the one and all the way to Santa Barbra for the remainder of the trip.

Now that we have a feel for the northern California area we do plan to return to check out some more of the forgotten part of California...
