For sure! Well said! I don't know him personally, but definitely seems like an awesome guy. Even puts up with me giving him shit and I love it.

I appreciate the kind words fellas. Right now I'm just moping as I helped - a little bit - a friend get ready for a fun trip that I'd love to be on but I can't go because I have to do dialysis and stay close to the hospital in case they call for the kidney transplant. I could let it frustrate and anger me but it is what it is so I just roll with it.

We give each other some good natured teasing from time to time here but it's all in fun and in the end I've always seen this community pull together to help others. I've had a member allow me to order something from a vendor close to him and he packaged it all up and shipped it to me. Didn't want anything in return and was happy to help. That's the type of community member I'm striving to be. I have some physical limitations right now but I try to stay in motion as much as possible.

There is more to come and soon I'll get the trailer title paperwork and then I can start moving it around and putting it to work and you can bet that there will be plenty of pictures to come when that happens.

Only anwsering because we have them in our work trucks. So the antenna really only works when you already have some service so you have to keep that in mind, some places where I would normally only get "extended" it would switch over to LTE which is nice. Another thing is it's best used when your phone is directly over the puck (little thing that you put in the cab) so if you hard mount it somewhere your limiting the use to that one spot. We Velcro the puck where the hotspot normally sits but able to just move it if one of us needs to use it with our phone.

GTs is very similar to the ones we use at work if it isn't the same model.

It would be nice but if I don't have service to begin with then it doesn't do me much good

I like it as it does help me at times. Like @ChandlerDOOM said, if you already have a strong signal, then you already have a strong signal and it won't make a difference. When I get to service areas with two bars or less I start to see the benefits as it pushes me back into the LTE service power. I've been in a few places where I never got signal before and could get enough for voice with the booster. Do I "need it?" Probably not, but I have plans for a fairly comprehensive communications upgrade and wanted something that I could use for rapid connection to emergency service providers before I leaned onto amateur radio for help. So with that said, while it isn't the perfect solution I felt it was worth the investment and am glad to have it.

Just went through whole build, very well thought out! Satisfied with your brake rotors?

Yes, knowing that I was pushing my unsprung weight up quite high I knew I had to do something to give me back the braking force required. There are more expensive and higher performing options out there but for now this works very well. At a later time if I want to upgrade then I'll look into a big brake kit.

Apologize for not responding to this sooner. Been ridiculously sick and doctor had me temporarily hospitalized which always sucks even though I know it's for my own good. I saw the same numbers you did and decided that I liked my EBC setup well enough for now. The Hutchinsons have yet to fail to impress me. It stung paying for them but every time someone suggests different wheels to me I just grin and shake my head because I love what I have.

@ChandlerDOOM and @Crom, I just now saw what you both said in the now locked voting thread. Thank you, I guess I do keep it low key but I appreciate the kind words. Hopefully soon we can all meet up in Death Valley and do some exploring and camping as a group.

Dear Sir, Hope that you get to feeling better soon. I have a question about the S2 pro lights mounted on your bumper wings. Do they put out an appropriate amount of light for ditch lighting? I am tentatively planning on getting a set of flush mounts that will be placed on the outer/horizontal edges of my Allpro bumper. In addition I plan on mounting Flush mount Squadron Pros to my Prinsu cabrac. 1 on either side. My goal is to provide enough light out to the sides of my truck as I drive to work through heavy deer country. The lenses will be the wide/driving type. Thankyou in advance. Sorry for the thread jack.

I like the lights and they work well for the slow speed offroad use I intended them for but I have to admit that I've never turned them on while driving on public roads. Because I also live in deer country - Southern tip of the Illinois golden triangle - I have used with great success the from @YotaDan at Wheeler's Off-Road. It allows me to safely run the low beam element along with the high beam element of the headlights which gives me the best of both worlds simultaneously. The model I have also lets me use the factory driving lights with the high beams activated as well. Now I can see down the road to spot wildlife on the road and be able to see into the edge of the treelines to see the glowing eyes of the animals that are thinking about jumping out in front of me.

Thanks for the reply. I usually drive about 60mph for a 30 mile stretch. I've had several deer jump over fences and run out towards the road requiring hard braking. I can see adequately out front (could be better). In all honesty I'm trying to find the right setup to get proper light throw and zone coverage. I am really impressed with Baja Designs quality, and would prefer to use good quality over cheap/temporary solutions. I don't have an unlimited budget, but I do not want to buy a product that is not going to last or underperform. Thanks in advance.

Understood, I'll make a note to drive with them on when I get out after dark to see how well they work and report back to you.

In other news, I took advantage of the deals that @Unchained 5150 put together in this thread and bought an OEM bedmat for $80.00 delivered. There are some other pretty cool items there that are worth a peek and if I understand correctly today is the last day that he knows the dealer will be available due to the new year and all that.

Thats a great price. The factory bed mat, one of the best accessories ever, IMO. I think you'll like it a lot. I'm really digging the rotating thread titles. Makes me smile and chuckle.
