Happy to take care of it for you. Unfortunately we haven't had the best luck with one of the Anodize Companies we use. For everyone else watching, this is covered under our Limited Lifetime Warranty (https://www.bajadesigns.com/help/warranty-policy.asp). If you are experiencing this issue please contact me (bailey@bajadesigns.com). I can go over a few options for you :D

    On the aluminum exterior.

In other news. Been airing out the campers this evening and taking some measurements. Kicking myself as I wanted to play with a couple of the accessory awnings we bought for the trailer bur like an idiot, I left the book with all of the awning layouts and pole positions at the house.

    IMG_3949.jpg IMG_3952.jpg

As it sits, that's allot of covered sleeping space. The plan is to figure out how to dock the two using the "Bedouin awning" that comes with the trailer. If you look at their diagram you see the two tents that they have docked to the awning, I'm wanting to find a way to dock the rear awning the we attach to the FlipPac to the Bedouin awning. And if we still need more sleeping space we can add an OzTent to the mix as well.

Discovered a few issues that will need to be sorted with the new bumper. Due to the center latch there is no way to mount a license plate in the center with a flip up bracket and fit a draw bar. There are also no provisions for safety chains on the bumper which really sketch me out. The cutout for the seven pin trailer plug needs some attention as it's round and I am switching to the newer style that has accommodations for both seven pin and four pin. I also need to make a place for the trailer battery charging plug to fit. It's basically a small Anderson style plug that allows the alternator to charge the trailer batteries while driving.

Have an illuminated licenses plate bracket on the way with plans to try to fit it to the back of the can carrier.

    Yes I did.

When I bought mine Martyn warned about putting it away stressing that prior to closing the latches, ensure that you close the right hand side before the left hand side to help draw the lid back to square combating the torque of the torsion bar.

Dude, it's slowed down a little now the the weather is better and we can get out and do stuff but we still get together out there from time to time. Just know that you are always welcome because you are TacomaWorld family.

For anyone looking for a place to mount a Hi-Lift that has an ARB bumper, check this out. Selling a pair of Fourtreks Hi-Lift jack billet aluminum bumper mounts with the upgraded billet aluminum wing nuts. This pair is sized to fit on any ARB bumper - 1 7/8" - and locks your jack down solid. $100 shipped anywhere in the CONUS.

These are being sold as used, excellent condition as I ran them on my LandCruiser for about three months. Pictured are the mounts, what they look like without the jack* on them, and with the jack.

*LandCruiser and Hi-Lift jack not included
