to add to this, i am usually cruising 70-75 which with a regear means it would typically drop out of 5th anyways on hills down to 4 (then be at higher rpms compared to stock gears). so just rocking stock gears and driving 4 prevents that whole scenario.

id say get tires, drive around a while and then see if you want a regear still

Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
How fast you drive is important for this decision. Also important is how flat your highways are.

I have 4.56/auto/33s and am pretty happy. Lots of mountains to climb and no interstates around here, most hwy driving is at 60mph. .... I also have a supercharger. Even when I occasionally find myself on an interstate doing 80 I don't mind the gears, they only seem overkill when it's flat and I tend to avoid flat places. MPG drops real quick above 60, but I think aerodynamics are as much at fault as gearing.

See, that might be the issue for me as I'm a geezer and I drive like one while being stuck here in Illinois. I know I lost about a mile and a half in fuel economy with the FlipPac and more with the added weight from all the "stuff."

This weekend some electrical project TW got done. Rock lights that I've owned for seven years finally went on and the trail whip is now wired up. We also got the mobile phone boosters outside antenna moved as well as rerouting the CB radio cable to the rear passenger corner where it now resides. Too bad the Firestik antenna bolt is too short or I'd be tuning and checking it off the list, until I can get to the hardware store I'll keep the radio off and the antenna in the bed. The St. Louis crew keeps stepping to help and I'm always grateful. Thanks @HIYota, @VangaSTL, and @ChandlerDOOM.

All are positioned well except the one in front. It's currently on the bottom of the winch plate on the bumper and the hole that it is firing through is restricting at least 80% of the light. A solution has already been ordered.

    Very nice!

How many rock lights did you install and where did you place the rear ones?

Going to be like daylight at windrock when we are on the trails...

We installed 6 in total. 2 more have been ordered to be placed on the front. A pair for the front wheels mounted on the frame right behind the LCA. A pair for the rear wheels right in front of the leaf spring mount, and a single one placed within the rear bumper mounted to the underside of the hitch (the hitch is built into the high clearance bumper).

    Thanks!

Was going to be doing the install of my rear rock lights this coming weekend, so wanted to see about where to put them, my fronts are in the wheel well at the very top and was planning on doing the same to the rear somehow, but not sure yet, so will look at frame mount then.

Yup, six for now with a pair coming to address some uneven coverage issues.

Nice, I am just working with 4 and plan to get one more at least to put where the spare tire used to be to light up that area when the new rear end comes in.

So stoked to get this. But I admit that I may have gone slightly overboard.

Bottom of the center stack is coming together thanks to @Crom and @Benson X and their dead simple write ups for an ABS kill switch.

Been playing with the new ScanGuage and have a few things sorted out. Still need to get the transmission temp on there as well. With it now set to display the correct speed I can now make plans to move forward with the in dash iPad mini and removing the Pioneer double din unit. This gets the iPad mini off of the stalk on the passenger side of the center console and allows me to remove a little bit of clutter.
