See, this is where I "may" be screwing up. I really love the FlipPac, The family loves it too which puts me in a bind. If I decide that I want to pull the tray, I'd want to put the FlipPac back on. Decisions, decisions.

Yup, and with them not being made anymore it's silly to sell it. I need to get rid of a couple tractors to make room in the shop for my stock bed anyway.

Very cool. I went back a few pages in his build and saw the install and a lot of chatter, but nothing on availability or pricing. Is there a long bed version?

Asking for curiosity. No way I'll be able to scrape together enough spare change to get one myself.

From what he's told me is that there will be no availability for awhile as he wants to allot of testing and finger poking to sort out how to make it better suited for Tacoma drivers. The petulant child in me screams "NOW, NOW, NOW," but deep down I know that this is the right course of action. The novelty of the situation is that it was installed at my workshop, yet I've never physically seen it and won't until sometime next week at the earliest. I was at a LandCruiser event last weekend while they did the job and he's at Expo East this weekend.

Is it just me or do those rear tires have about 2" of clearance for up travel ? He needs to make those "wheel wells " a hell of a lot bigger huh ?

Yeah, the tray is designed to work with 33's and 35's. Stuffing 37's under it guarantees a rub fest.

Need to figure out a solution to securely get four of them up there.

Looking like a little homebrew is in order.

Four total, or as sold... Two pair. That ladder frame folds under the trailer when opened so they wouldn't be in the way there when camping but they wouldn't be readily accessible either. The ladder frame - and all of the other steel on the trailer - is hot dip galvanized and I'm trying my best to not drill any holes to compromise that excellent rustproofing. I grabbed one of the spare tire mounts and have them on there now to see how I like them being there. If I can't come up with something to allow them to be mounted to the ladder frame I reckon I'll be forced to stick with the spare tire mount for the time being.
