some of this, a little of that
Look on the diff, there should be a sticker that says LSD for the additive.
At least there is one on my '08...

That's why I asked which bed configuration you had. The DC long beds all came with LSD those first couple of years. Short beds only got it if special ordered or it came in a special SR5 package (like mine came in SR5 package #8...although I have a long bed). And without having a TRD Off-Road, you then do indeed have an open diff.

Well if you have a TRD sport, which is most likely why you would have a LSD you will have color matched bumpers, mirrors, and grille. You will also have the built in inverter with an ac outlet in the bed and most obvious but not definitive if someone did a swap would be the scooped hood.

So, what is the solution?? I have an 07 DC Long Bed Sport...I'm assuming it has LSD (just bought it used). My previous Tacoma was an 03 TRD Off Road. I want all 4 tires to hook up!

Yes, all the TRD Sport models have an LSD (05-08 were mechanical LSD).

^ This. But you'll lose the LSD if you go with a locker in the rear.

Sorry for the delayed response....been digging out from a 21" dump of snow from a blizzard last week. Another 4" to 10" is expected starting tomorrow night. I definitely have an LSD...so...I think I want to install an ARB locker in the front axle. I sure with the DC long bed would be offered in the TRD Off Road Package with the E-locker. I'm very pleased with my newly purchased 2007 DC long bed...but the E-locker rear axle is missed. I just sold my 2003 TRD OR access cab and I can definitely tell the difference when in 4-low (no locking rear axle). :(

    Thanks!!

Ummm... the 'Sport' TRD has a hood scoop... Quick way to tell if it is a Sport (and it also has mech. LSD if '05 to '08 year model (plus the sticker on the differential).
