Sorry to hear man, hope you're alright.
Check for frame damage first, like @NYCTaco52 said. If not, and you really like the truck, maybe do a buyback from insurance and repair it, otherwise I would suggest getting another truck.

From what I can tell in the pictures you will have to replace a large segment of the cab if you really want to repair it. That being said, it won't be cheap (probably... don't quote me on that, I'm not a mechanic or repair shop person).

I couldn't tell you how much it's worth, I'm not an appraiser.
How much did insurance say they would pay for it?
You could always part it out like you said. First thing to do would be to get yourself up to 50 messages then you can start putting stuff for sale up in the forums.
If that is a hassle, I would suggest taking the check from insurance and just giving them the truck as is.
    Just my $0.02

That is a hard hit to the rocker and floor. That is definitely not a DIY job. The buyback is probably going to be about $4K to $5K. Some trucks are worth buying back and fixing. That one is not. Take all the money and let the insurance company have the truck.

If you have your original hood, tell the insurance company you want to swap the original hood back before you let it go. Then sell the skewp hood for some extra cash.

Get the most from the insurance and call it a day. The main issue with buying the truck back in most states is that with a salvaged title you can only get liability insurance. So for example you buy it back for 5k and put let say 5-8k to fix so now you out 13k, one week week later you get hit again and it’s totaled again you have zero recourse your out you 13k and a truck or you fix again all out of your own pocket.

I completely agree. I just went through this with my daughter’s Ford Escort. The car was drivable and the repairs were cosmetic, but by the time we got it fixed and went through the restoration title route with the DMV, it was too much hassle. Further, the insurance company wasn’t going to offer full coverage. If you had done tons of mods, maybe it would be worth it, but as it is, you’ll likely be better off. We actually made money on our deal!
