Guidance needed

I own a 96 Toyota Tacoma, and I am thinking about updating the M/T Center Console Shift Bezel (what they call it on eBay). I have the two sticks (manual and 4x4). I would like to upgrade and include the extra cupholder on the bezel. However I am not sure if the 01-04 will directed bolt on to a 96? I have done the center console and upgraded to the 01-04, love the cup holders and extra space (the grey may not match perfectly, but the cupholders alone are worth it). Before I spend the money I wanted see if anyone had done this and if it would work? Thanks.

I removed mine changing theclutch and never put it back in.

I am sure you could make it work just how factory it would look I have no Clue.

I have used silicone Caulking to hold things in place it works great and easy to remove.
