Gulches ORV Park in Laurens, SC

Damn 2+ hours on top of my 5hr drive.. AOP and Windrock are only 8 hours for me..

 

Probably yeah.

 

I figure we keep an eye on the website and see how it looks towards the end of the week.

 

We can overland at Chestnut mtn

 

Chesnut mt is another hour at least for me. I'm down for that though. Is URE out of my league if y'all go there? URE is same distance to gulches for me.

I wanted to hit something a little more challenging than chesnut mt.

 

IMO Gulches is a good bit more technical than URE.

 

But his situation with the mud is just silly..

 

What do you mean gulches turns into a mud bog when it rains?

 

URE would be good for you as well

 

The state/County gets pissed when his business gets their road muddy and fines him.

 

That big mud puddle at the hill climb Cham got stuck on Father's Day last year was still there last time I went, too. I think it's a perpetual pool.

So it sounds like maybe migrating to URE this weekend if gulches is closed? I'd be down for that especially of URE is more my level anyway.

 

I'm not sure ure compared to gulches never been to gulches just saying ure would be a good one for you to go on as well.

And they close at 5/6 because the Neighbors bitch of the noise. But yet, logging trucks on 221 got the roads muddy. This was in Lauren's on my way home

Lasted maybe 10 mins. If you call Skip and tell him you got a group of experienced guys coming to wheel. He'll open for that.
