that certainly is rough...but it is best to fight fire with fire. all these unfortunate events can lead many to think about the "what ifs" some people may say your reaction in getting a firearm is a knee jerk response. its just being proactive.

to a point it is but sometimes you run out of road and there is no direction left. guns are such a touchy subject (because to me anti-gunners dont make any sense). besides its no longer a debate when youre right :D

depends on the situation...i have seen enough of these type of conversations and debates to know that I (as a pro-gunner) am not going to change any minds or feelings on the issue (same goes for anti-gunners) until I have to say "told you so".

I have guns, I carry in Church! (My pastor has encouraged anyone that has a license to carry legally, to CARRY!) Love my pastor! He is a great man of GOD!
Now, This comment is in refrence to you statement about schools. I live in Johnstown, Pa and the Middle School here has an indoor gun range in the basement for students that want to practice and they also allow adults use it after school. This is for Rifles & handguns.
Also, when I first heard of this, I said the same thing. I thought federal law prohibited guns on school property. Here i n PA there are many schools that teacher the students how to properly use rifles. Go figure.

I don't see any problems with carrying a gun into a church(and most other places), as long as it is holstered and being carried by a licensed and trained individual.

oh come on, there are a lot of Commandments that are total BS, and if this is really one of them.... if you even believe that crap anyway,
Im with you, this is the gun and hunting forum but, it seems every day someone is complaining about new gun laws or restrictions on guns.

if he existed i wonder what this guy would think about this obviously intrusive geogia law....
