I grew up duck hunting with our lab named "Ruger". He lived for hunting.. poor guy. the name was perfect for a bird dog.

 

I have had dogs named drake(yellow lab) , camo (catahoula cur/lab mix), mally short for mallard (chocolate lab). however I like the name Sako, or Kimber.

By the way the dog named camo, was the best duck dog I have ever had. He was just a natural hunting machine with a great nose.

I always thought, wheeler was a cool name, my dogs names are Gixxxer, mahla, and snickers. if that helps ahhah.

 

I always wanted two dogs and name one "over" and one "under" as in a over and under double barrell. haha
