Gun related stickers on your taco

Looks like there’s more than a few Arfcom members here.

I have a pre-Brownells white BFL, but debating on putting it on the back glass. I’m wanting to black out my MGM, I’ll have to think on it.

 

I haven't read all the post on this thread but going off original title no F way!

 

I like the BFL because it’s pretty obscure to the general public.

 

No stickers for me, no one needs to know my Taco is packing. Plus, dont need to draw attention from gun haters and/or thieves etc.

I used to, but removed them all after reading a story about someone calling in a driver they felt wronged them and reported them as displaying a gun, apparently all based on seeing a Glock sticker on their vehicle. Personal choice, but I decided I did not want to ever have to face a "their word against mine" kind of situation due to a sticker. I also realized Glock was not paying me to advertise for them. Should they choose to do so, maybe I'd change my mind.

 

I respect / envy those that do but I personally choose not to. The greyer and more discrete the better.

i had some hello kitty "HK" decals made for the car, but i've been debating actually putting them on

 

That's just too subtle and open for obvious jokes. Perhaps it's an insider joke well known to the HK crowd and I'm a lowly outsider

 

well i'm asian and love hello kitty, and i love my hk's, so i made an hk logo with the hello kitty letters haha. so if you know me, it's very me. but if you don't it's probably confusing

 

In todays fucked up world, the less people that know if you have a gun, the better.

You are not mistaken.
OPSEC is always a good plan.

 

Whackjob "anti's" concern me more than potential thieves. Anything that could get them fired up ...leading to potentially ugly scenarios.

Though if I lived in a high(er) crime area, advertising to criminals would also weigh heavy on my mind. Either from a perspective of a parking lot vehicular smash 'n' grab, or worse, tailing you home... to case your residence for a return "visit" to do some "shopping".

But, yes, I don't want to give anyone any reason to target me, or my truck.
