Ok thanks. Browsing their site now and I'm not sure I like how the auto locks. Can't find a good diagram of it. The titanium leaf spring in my Ti-Lite will hold 120lbs without failing so I could almost hang off it if needed! And it only cost me $65 compared to the $240+ I was seeing for some of the BM autos. My wife would kill me if I spent that kind of money on a knife!

They have a super strong plunge lock. The AF had a safety. Now the Army does. You have to pull it back because it creeps on just enough to ruin your ruined day.
If this is your only chance to get out of a helo, this thing has to work one handed and fast.

Yeah. I can understand that. I like how the ti-lite will flip open as it's pulled out of my pocket so I don't have to reach for a switch, thumb stud, etc. Just pull and flick my wrist. Although I can see that being a problem on a helo or other confined area. Best not to have the blade open unless you want it to. :D

I carry the AF when flying and a fixed blade canopy opener.
Of course, the .45 will open the canopy, but the noise.

There was an old SSG. who hated to jump.
An SFC was the jump master and had known this guy in other airborne units.
After the whining in the plane, he asks the SSG, If you hate to jump so much, why have you been in jump units for 15 years?
He said, I just like to hang around with the people who do.

im gonna go with i dont share klowns opinion either

regardless of if you were a cook or a toilet cleaner or the baddest mofo ever to set foot in enemy land...regardless of if youre now crazy and have ptsd or not

you still served the country and we can all be thankful there are people out there that will gladly sacrifice their future sanity to do such

one of my best friends just recently left the army...he did 2 tours in iraq and now has severe ptsd (he spent one of those tours on SRT kicking in doors in Baghdad) and is over 80% disabled. He has back and neck problems along with heavy hearing loss and issues with headaches. He's 26

i appreciate the HELL out of anyone making the decision to join up and serve the country

I`ll tell you something. The support to shooter ratio is quite high. Trigger pullers do not have time for anything else. As it is, sleep deprivation is a problem. So the food, clothes, ammo, beer and all else is done for you.
    Someone has to do it.
    They serve too.
The Army says, if you need a wife, we will issue you as many as you need.

Speak to me after you get your cup full.

You civilians would not know the real world if a 105 brought it gift wrapped.
