What's your opinion on these wheels? I'll be lifting my truck and running 33's so I'm looking for a new set of wheels.

(Edit not my truck but same color as my truck)

Think they look great. I don't think there's a truck color those wouldn't look good on. I've been considering doing those for my MGM, but been on the fence.

I'm just wondering if it'll be too much silver.. I don't want to be like every other truck running black wheels though. I was thinking of POSSIBLY having them powder coated gold

Have you looked at the scs wheels? They have a bronze that everyone seems to like. I'm with you on the black wheels, but I sure wouldn't cover those MGMS unless you can find a set not in the greatest shape.

I'm 99% sure I'll be ordering these, now just to find a place, I'm kinda nervous at the idea of ordering off Ebay.

Just be sure to read reviews of the seller before ordering. I've never ordered something as big as that though and I'd be shittin my pants too.

Bought my trd fj trails team wheels off off eBay and it was from a Toyota dealership that sells on the site. Great experience and price was very fair too.

Does the FN wheel look-a-like come in other colors? If for no other reason they would be a cheaper wheel to then color.

I have these exact wheels on my silver 09 access cab, it is definitely not too much silver. They are darker than the truck and with a different offset from the stock wheels they stick out just slightly. Gives a stock rig a more aggressive look. Think you'll be happy with them.

I prefer black. Gunmetal looks good on red vehicles but i think its too the same looking on a Silver truck.

PS The best money I ever spent was on my black TRD wheels. I love em

I went with black FJ trails. I have black fender flares though, so gray would of been weird. I still prefer the black though on other vehicles. I really like the gray ones, but only on a few applications. Black looks good all around and is easy to touch up.
I found the price online, and my local dealership price matched, so win-win.

The bronze FN wheels that look similar to the TRD ones would look great on silver.

Curious about board's opinion on this: If your rig isn't a TRD model (Mine is a 2007 PreRunner DCLB), is it considered improper to upgrade with TRD-labeled accessories (such as the rims in this thread)?

Nope. Basically the majority of OEM parts are labeled "TRD". If you were putting a TRD Pro sticker on your non Pro.. that might be a little odd.
