    Looks like a water dog but what breed Conner? The wife and I love dogs. We just ordered calendars of Just French Bulldog Puppies.

    We work too much and are away from the house too long during the day to subject them to that.

    He's a German wirehair. Good bird dog but really just a good dog in general. But not to be left at home all day without 2 walks a day and a toy to occupy him during the 9-5

    Smart man. I was in a similar position until recently and I decided to take full advantage. It does a bit of sacrifice, but I found a dog that does well for my hobbies so he can come too instead of just being left at home.

    He does but his fur is odd. It doesnt stick to my clothes much, you just see whispy clumps of fur by the baseboards that is easy to vacuum

    As opposed to my childhood huskies that had fur that stuck to anything and everything.

    Yea, I think that pretty common with breeds like yours. I forget the classification but they have a different type of a inner or secondary coat. I think if I remember correctly, they molt twice a year? And it can be brushed out?

    Or maybe I'm thinking of another class/breed.

    Edit - just looked it up. Griffon is the type I was trying to remember.

    Wirehairs are singlecoat, but huskies def had undercoats. Every spring we'd brush them out and they are half the dog they were.
