Hey that's the sawzall I have too!
I've got a pair of Craftsman jack stands you're welcome to use. Unless you need the excuse to buy yourself some jack stands, in which case I'll tell you you can't use mine.

Considering everything is sold out, I'll take you up on that jackstand offer.

I do need new ones anyway but this will help solve the immediate problem. Desert race last weekend knocked my alignment even farther out on the pax side.

Good call! My corded dewalt got pretty warm when I did mine. You'd probably have killed the HF saw in a hurry!

reading back through this little write up you did. Curious what jack you used and how you mount it in the rig, want to do this myself. Any more info would be killer :headbang:

1.5 ton race jack from HF. Should be like 55-60 bucks.

For mounting I used a quick fist around the front roller wheel thing, and then a quickfist XL that wraps around the body right by the swing arm pivot.

Handle halves, I mounted a pair of quickfists to some aluminum and mounted them off the passenger side bed track.

Are the quick fists for the jack mounted directly to the bedside fenderwell? How’s it hold up off road? Any play or rattling?

yeah, 1/4 inch hardware with a nylock and large fender washer in the wheel well above the splashguard. That was the hardest part of the install since you have to jam your hand in this really tight area  and that plastic liner is razor sharp.

Been on for 2 years now and hasn't given me a single issue. It does wobble a little side to side if I really force it, but solid on the daily. It can make some noise as it hits the bedside, but thats why i moved the side handle to the inboard side.

okay, so you’re getting new lowers? Did I miss something?

A person doesn’t really need to look hard to find excuses and/or reasons to buy new tools. They are so shiny when they are new.

Its so handy to have in the back. Add an impact gun in the cab and you can do tire changes in no time flat.

Well, my lower cam bolts are seized and when they seize, they stick to the LCAs bushing sleeves so you cant get them out or get your alignment right. So for the last 2 years, my passenger side has been getting more and more screwy and its starting to cause tire wear and a wobble. Figure its finally time to fix it.

So I get a new set of LCAs, bushings and ball joints to go with. Basically refreshing the whole front end of the truck that didn't get touched by the Camburg UCAs and Kings a couple years ago.

OEM. I thought about the Dirt King arms, but for an extra grand over factory lowers I have no complaints with, it's hard to justify.

yepppp this is my exact purpose. Plus you just can’t beat a good floor jack in some situations. Plus I have nothing to jack a hilift off of at the moment

For home duty, I have the HF 3 ton low profile long reach. Thing is a beast!
