    I can’t believe how much lumber has dropped, I need to refloor a trailer. I priced treated lumber 2 months ago and it was going to be $300, priced it yesterday and it was $183 :eek:

    Had a few friends turn their MTB Shuttle party into a Roadside maintenance party. Classic LBJ Failure.

    Pulled the CV, Bad joint assembly, and put a new one on roadside. Unfortunately, the wheel bearing got damaged in the separation and started squealing and smoking in the short limp up the hill to a buddys house but at least we got it to a safe spot for a tow tomorrow.

    Wasn't just me to be sure.

    Coolest part of the whole ordeal is that the guy that contributed 90% of the tools on hand and a good part of the labor was a jeep guy that just happened to drive past, and stopped to see what needed fixing. Feels good to know that people without any affiliation or skin in the game will still stop and help.

    That thing is badass, but you get it then need a truck to pull the flatbed...the spiral goes on.

    I have thought about selling the taco and something newer and sportier on the street then buying a cheaper 4x4 option I don't feel bad scratching up with sage stripes, etc., IDK, I'm real wishy washy on vehicles.

    Yeah, my main hang-up is whatever I get next is then gonna get built up and look exactly like my taco, just with a few doors less or more which makes it silly.
