Whiny-sounding lipstick on a slow AF pig just makes it a premium guzzling pig.

This thing though: Did 200+ fun miles so far on like $12 in gas. :D

I've swung past your house like 4 times boppin around town since I bought it tryin to say hi, but you're always buttoned up :p

I would start by doing that. Also, after looking at the broken lug, the bolt that tightens it on the post had lots of shank showing from where it had been over tightened to compensate.

Yeah, mine are just 2 fingers on the wrench level of tight. About what I'd call "normal" for battery bolts.

I'll give it a shot anyways cuz itll only take a sec.

Figures, I gotta keep those doors closed to save my money for the gas station. Would love to see that bike sometime though!

    Updated update:

    1. Test battery load at O'reilly on the way home. - load test on battery, alternator, and starter all test green
    2. Clean and inspect terminals after getting home
    3. Inspect change drawer fuse panel fuses - all appears normal
    4. Revert all fuses back to factory down there to test control group - all appears normal, add a fuse for dash cam was on the washer fuse, not ign.
    5. Wait and see I guess?
    6. Get quote on ignition switch replacement from LHM Service dept.

Pulled the terminal clamps, entirely disassembled and soaked them in vinegar for 1.5 hrs while I hit the posts and wire tabs with baking soda paste.

Reassembled and rhe truck started with authority, and Im seeing 14.0 14.1v again in the scanguage which I now realize I havent seen in a while.

Will keep an eye one it, but I may have just had sufficiently dirty hardware to cause an issue.

Straight vinegar? I am only seeing 13ish volts on my gauge. Wondering if a hardware clean could get me back to 14+ volts...I just assumed my alternator was getting tired aftee 162k miles.

Yeah, just white vinegar in a mason jar, let it soak and then rinsed with some water.

I did the Cirque Series trail running race at Alta on Saturday. Great views, meh weather esp at the summit pouring rain and blowing a galewhile scrambling for the Summit, but nice and cool temps made the run enjoyable.

The greatest view of the day! I was gassed.

Remembered I had my old tv down in storage. One wall mount later, the garage got an upgrade!

Dude! That’s impressive. How much elevation gain are we talking and how long did it take?

I can’t think of any logical reason why you wouldn’t want a flat screen in the garage. Could be useful for watching how to on YouTube. Genius.

You would want to make sure the garage door is closed. And maybe try some black bags over the windows. LOL.

    :rofl:that's a great one

Does the house a street down from you still have the nude statues all over their yard? You know, right across from the entrance to the school? That one always made me chuckle.
