Yep. It was tempting, but with our pay getting cut this year and my bonus being paid in stock options, I figured I'd be reasonable this time.

If I'm balling out on LCAs, I'm going long travel, but then that opens another project can of worms and sucks up a ton more money

Well having held the kit in my hand already, it is a robust and simple solution to a problem that plagues many. It actually irritates me that I didn't think of it first to be honest. Will update once I install it.

    Pros:
    Cheaper than OEM
    Simpler than OEM
Holds an alignment permanently due to no moving parts (Better than OEM)
    Much cheaper replacement hardware

    Cons:
I didn't think of it first
"good enough" alignment settings for camber and caster (finite variation)
I didn't think of it first

The 2020 Rebelle Rally is featuring a couple EV classes this year and Rivian is bringing their pickup. Will be an exciting challenge for the concept truck. One of the big (justified) complaints from current truck users is battery life and range. I think this will be an excellent proving ground for them as the Rebelle isn't what I'd call easy.

Isn't that like 1500 miles? It'll be great to see the Rivian and what it can do.

I forget but its quite a ways over a few days. They're pairing with a Utah company (not Goalzero) for offgrid charging solutions.

Coolest part of the Rivian is a pass-through storage cubby behind the back seats and under the bed.

Of course they leaned into the "Overland" trend immediately.

And it actually looks reasonable. Unlike Tesla's offering.

Well...I FINALLY got my lcas delivered by Fedex. Big ups to the Toyota of Dallas packing team for this crack packaging job. LCAs are free to just wander about the box as FedEx did god knows what to it.

Further inspection shows a few paint chips and a gouge or two, but bushings and ball joints are unscathed. Nothing more than a decent weekend in the dirt would do, but its the principle of the matter.

    Mine came packaged very similarly.

An interesting solution by @Key-Rei while stuck today. Necessity is the mother of invention.

Bow hitch through a receiver hitch.
