Hello All, I am thinking of getting some of the gutter guards on our house to keep the leaves out of the gutters. I have zero knowledge about them. Does anyone have them ? I am talking about any brand as I don't know which brands are the good or bad ones. ANY information/comments is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance for your time.

Can’t use ‘em here. Too many Pine needles. I wouldn’t mind the Trophy Wife on the TV add.

I had those white plastic ones but they were useless. I did a lot of research and ended up with Gutter Guards from Costco. I haven't had a gutter block since installing them. No pine trees, but oak, maple, privet and misc others. Highly rated.

We bought gutters that have a guard built into them. It sits below the edge though, so it will still trap a lot of debris. The con is I still have to blow off the debris…the pros are that the gutters stay clean inside…and when we get a huge storm with a lot of rain, the water still goes into the gutter. Regardless of the design you choose there will still be a need for preventative maintenance. But that is cheaper than replacing gutters or repairing damage caused when they are clogged .

Tried a few at my parents' house. Best results observed with these cheap plastic ones: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Amerima...Vinyl-Micro-Mesh-Gutter-Guard-86770/100520851

Me, too. I installed leaf filter guards, and they do the trick.
