I left the trailer plugged into shore power last night, so the battery charger is on and running for the first time. It is running in the float stage which means it recognizes the battery being nearly completely charged. I am glad I invested in a smart charger, I have high confidence that it will give me the most out of my battery with the least amount of effort. That said, it's the first time it's ever run.. If for some reason I stop posting updates, cross your fingers that the trailer didn't burn down in an electrical fire or something.

Hey! Put a metal handy box duplex cover on that outlet! JK, it all looks great. What holds the battery from sliding?

I will I will! Lol. I just didnt have a cover lying around. As for the battery, I am going to build a lip out of 1x2s to keep it from sliding and use a heavy duty velcro strap to hold it down.

Here's a pic I took today with the exterior and interior light on. It's looking like a real camper! Also mounted the front lower cubbies permanently and completed the wiring along with it. The front lower cubbies has a 120v receptacle and two 12v plugs

Another shot of the electrical now that I wired in the inverter and put a face plate on the handy box for horstuff

This is kinda silly but... I cannot for the life of me remove the sticker on the back of the trailer. It is so stuck on that anything I do to try to remove it damages the paint. I have tried using a heat gun, various solvents, etc. I was thinking of covering it with another sticker, maybe a blank sticker. OR maybe I could put together a website logging the whole build and put a sticker with that URL over top of it.

Any Ideas? I'm sure the people at TrailersPlus.com are nice and all, but I don't want their sticker on my build.

I've tried goof off and goo b gone. The problem is that the solvents can't even get between the sticker and the paint. The sticker comes up in very very tiny chips if you use a razorblade

Call them, ask how to get it off. Unless they're total dickweeds, they'll tell you.

Have you checked with a sign shop (like Fastsigns) to see what them use to remove old decals? Maybe even take it down to them or somewhere that does vehicle wraps.

I might take it to a decal place that's a good idea. I know a sign guy who does decals/wraps. I'm going to ask him

I think it sat in the Joshua Tree sun for 2 years and it baked it onto the trailer.. I got every other sticker off. This one is just bonded and brittle. Hopefully sign guy has some magic tricks.
