Slight blue is not the issue as PIAA Xtreem whites have a slight blue tinge. The law is DOT which states color,size,intensity,distance and years that said equipment must be used.

I frankly don't give a rats ass what people do, hell, I LOVE IT when I get to fail you for being stupid, or I give a bill for THOUSANDS because you read somewhere that a certain "mod" was the S**T.

The FACT is DOT is Federal, LOCAL cops can AND WILL write you for Federal violations (nearly ALL traffic laws ORIGINATE on a FEDERAL level at some point) the question is will the cop progress it that far........well, how much of a jack ass are you to the cop? how many violations are you being hit for?

I know some cops on here will say that I am full of shit, all I have to say is look at DOT and MUTCD for proof.
Plus I used to live in commieville California, If I had a 100% clear record for the 12 years I lived there........WITH a superbike and driving fast cars.....I might know something........

I know about Fed court due to a friend being busted for a spark arrestor on his bike, it was an Aprillia RV4......they don't have them. the LA COP wrote him on hwy2 in the National Forrest area, We ended up in the high desert at a nondescript building reserved for Federal Traffic cases........

it took 3 weeks, no court date other than show up on this day at this time at this location, no court room, no judge, nothing. just show up and wait.....if you left and did not come back every day until your case was called.....well, you were guilty and a warrant was issued, not your normal bench warrant either...

as I said, If you want to take the chance and can afford to play fast and loose with the laws, go for it, I can't afford days out of work or loss of job or the higher insurance just to try and look "cool".
