    Anyone know anthing about the 2010 Tacoma's having a higher output 4.0 V6? I know the new 4Runner have a higher output V6 bc they dropped the V8. Im wondering if this motor will be put into the new Tacoma? Does anyone know?

    4runner always gets the cool engine before the Taco. :(

    I heard its 4Runner only until around 2012 or so......Just before the Myans get here.

    If they did put the H.O. in the new Tacoma I would probably trade mine in and get the new one... I would really like to have the backup camera and the blue tooth and the H.O. motor

    The FJ and 4runner both have the new 4.0, but the fj has 258hp and the 4runner has 270hp, and the tacoma will get it when the re-design is done.

    I've driven the new 4runner and the new motor is sweet. You can totally feel the vvti kick in around 4k and all the way to redline. The 32 additional hp is sweet!
