I’m replacing my Halogen H1 bulbs with LEDs or Halogens again. Haven’t decided if I want to go against warranty yet.. and I’m confused. Never had an H1 bulb before (bought these a year ago & never looked to see what they look like) lol. I know how to remove the bulb, I’m just a little confused on the wires at the end of the bulb. Do I just remove the blue wire and connect it on the new bulb I get? Then the black is the ground so I don’t need to touch it right?

Yes that's correct, blue should be positive, black should be your negative. Hook the blue wire to the new bulb and the ground back on the housing like it is and you should be ready to rock

Thank you BassAckwards! I had a strong feeling I knew I was doing it right, but DAMN is that blue wire tight on the end of the existing bulb. Makes it feel like it doesn’t wanna come off but now that I know it does, I’ll get after it

ive had similar issues getting the wires off my H3 bulbs. A little side to side wiggle seems to help when i've got one stuck on
