Below is what my 2020 owner's manual says. This should squash any assumptions.

Thanks to @crashnburn80 for the following info:
    The 2005-2011 take H10
    2012-2015 take H11
    2016+ SR5 take H10 - Edit: This should be H16
    2016+ TRD take H11

OP, your 2018 TRD should fit the H11. For what ever the reason it doesn’t fit, that’s weird (Maybe during the assembly line the person grab a H16 only connector and/or light housing and put it in your truck? Or the bulb you got been mislabeled? I’m only guessing lol)

For my truck, I have no issue with the H11.

Canadian 2016-2019 trucks didn’t get the H11 fog lamps, only H16.

2020+ trucks with halogen fog lamps got H16 only as the “upgraded” lamps are OEM LED.

My 21 came with H16 too. I replaced it with H11 for the fog & low beam no problem.

I was pointing out that your comment said 2016+ received H11, which is not correct.

Looks like you replaced yours with PnP LEDs. I expect that they are marked to work with H11 and H16 (mine were). Its not quite the same as an "H11" bulb it seems.

OP doesnt have a TRD. Their other threads list talk about how their turn signals in the front are always on (not flashing) indicating they have a sr or sr5 truck as it doesnt have LED day time running lights.

Yeah, both of my bulb (fog & low beam) said H11 on the box. Even the manufacturer’s website said it fit for both H11 & H16. Man, there must be a mix up somewhere. Now I’m confused lol.

The two bulb types share the same (or at least very similar) base dimensions. However the size of the glass envelope and the filament placement are not the same. An H11 should not be used in a lamp meant for an H16 bulb, and frankly the performance of an H16 lamp is so low there's no sense trying to chase for an upgrade bulb, when the OEM H11 fog fits the same, has a much wider, higher intensity pattern, and also has the ability to properly utilize any of a large variety of high performance bulbs.

You should not use PnP LEDs in any halogen lamp assembly. There are seberal exhaustive and detailed test and compsrison threads authored by Crashnburn80 that show time and again they fail to perform as well as nearly any standard output halogen bulb of the same type.

I question if its a offroad... it has non-led day time running light headlights, and h16 fog lights. Both things that came on the sr/sr5 trucks and not on the offroad. Perhaps he has a offroad that was wrecked and the front end was replaced with sr/sr5 parts.

    Edit:
May not be Op's vehicle, but based on the thread, it sounds like that is the headlight assembly on his truck.
Grille looks like 2016-2017 & TSS looks absent.

My OR has H16 fogs and his turn bulb being on isn't proof he doesn't have LED DRLs

This is especially true of the reflector based housing of the fog lights

Yeah thats not his truck, He has a "Magnetic Grey" according to his sig, that picture appears to be quicksand

What year is your offroad? they changed the fog lights when the LED ones hit the market to be either LED or h16. Canadian trucks also only got h16 fogs.

    Mine is a 21.

You do realize that in his other thread he says his turn bulbs are NOT on as DRLs.
