ARG! Guess its the dealer again for me. Maybe they can figure out why my truck is so bad on gas, im guessing i need to change plugs? It only has 22,000 miles.

Also the other day when i was driving around 40 mph in 4x4 high the truck seemed like it was fighting itself to move, jerking the whole time.

Hmmm, sounds like a problem, I'm assuming you've never had this work successfully before?. It must be in Neutral (foot on the brake) to engage the 4Lo (give it a second) once the 4Lo is engaged, put it in Drive, then push the locker button while under 5mph.

Also, your last two comments sound like an engine issue, not a 4x4 (drivetrain) issue. The truck requires a bit more power to run 4x4 than it does 4x2, so if your engine is crapping you will definitely feel it in 4x; also concurrent with the MPG loss.

Sounds like he's using 4WD on dry pavement.

to get into 4lo I put it in nuetral while the truck is still rolling very slowly... click it in 4lo and move the steering wheel back and forth for just a few seconds. usually clicks right in :)

Sometimes you have to drive a few feet before the Diff kicks in; especially if you haven't used it in awhile.

If you have a manual tranny the CLUTCH has to be pushed through the floorboard it seems like the entire time the switching and blinking is goin on. (Unless you unhooked the clutch safety wire. HEHE)

They are supposed to re-align the front-end after the suspension TSB. They probably either didn't do it, or they did it wrong. Raise hell.
