Finally did Titus Canyon... AND TOTALLY UNIMPRESSED!

Spent a few days in in Death Valley National Park (this was my third visit in the last couple years) and was really stoked with almost everything we explored. This trip included some fun trail runs, and a visit to one of the best preserved mines I've ever seen anywhere in the SW (not disclosing where it is exactly but let's say it's not that hard to find if you're willing to hike) and an awesome canyon trip at The Pit of Despair (again, gotta hike). But I've gotta say... for all the hype that revolves around Titus Canyon, I was kinda bummed out. Sure it's got a cool history and provided a couple nice photo-ops like the above shot but it was overcrowded (to the point of being annoying) and a little too leisurely for my taste (didn't even need 4 wheel drive). It's certainly worth crossing off the list but let's be real, not worth making a specific trip for like all these "adventure" folks from Los Angeles and Vegas driving out just to do it.

Just thought I'd vent, thought maybe this would turn into a trip report (Should I start doing them?) but not really... If you're interested in seeing other photos from this trip I'll be posting on IG...

Same here. Let the knuckleheads with no interest in exploring or those having no off road chops have Titus.

Thought I'd give a bit of an update here... After a few days of trying multiple tape weight locations to balance the wheel/tire, we found success! The new SOS Performance Big Brake Kit conversion is complete.

It's custom... BUT Hunter Offroad here in AZ just made another one for a guy coming down from Colorado. Hit up John Hunter if you're interested.
