Hack for changing oil

You just have to pour another 8 bottles’ worth and you should have the correct Sobe level. It’s math.

 

Hack Tip: instead of cutting off the bottom of the bottle in a straight line... cut at an angle so that you've got a bigger area to aim for when pouring oil.

 

This is rad i will have to try it.

I use a funnel that has screw caps on both ends. I like em cuz they keep all the bullshit from my shop or garage out of funnel between uses.

 

What I do is just vinyl wrap the whole engine bay and then leave a hole where the fill port is. Expensive but it works great.

That container will probably deteriorate then crack later on.

 

Anyone try any other drinks bottles? Not a sobe fan. John Deere 4045 uses Costco water bottles perfectly.

I could get behind this if maybe you were out in the desert and had to add a quart.

But if you're at home, how do you not have 5 or 6 funnels just waiting to perform their designed function?

 

Funnel wont hold a gallon jug by itself. Half of a milk jug will.
