I need to see some pictures of this.

It still makes me not interested in having them on my truck. You say it could be user error but errors happen. And if an error happens, I don't want it to cause my wheel to fall off as I'm going down the highway.

Blame it on me, blame it on the shop that does my inspection, blame it on a faulty torque wrench, blame it on defective product...if the end result has the potential of loosing a wheel - count me out!

yep, for 50 bucks more a piece I'll just get some rims. Never did trust the spacers, put a huge load of wood in the bed and hook up the boat and one breaks then your really screwed.

we're just :deadhorse: untill we know what brand they were. but a bright blue spacer is hard to forget, and since he hasn't mentioned the color yet, i'm saying they weren't spidertrax.

may be beside the point, but i will still be purchasing from spidertrax in the near future without hesitation.

Who knows what it could be. A product line is bound to have a failure at least once, yanno. shit happens.

i dont think they are spidertrax since the OP said they were 1.5" spacers and spidertrax only makes 1.25" for the tacoma.

although...i think the lug centric spacers are only for pre-1995 tacos, so if he went spidertrax he would of had to get 1.25's anyways since hes got an 01

They were silver, and please don't think that I'm trying to push anybody away from buying and running spacers. That isn't my intent at all

We have sold a lot of Spidertrax wheel spacers and never had an issue. The spacers really are no different than a wheel. The issue would be if someone did not install them properly. I personally have had them on my wheeling rig for 2 years and never had a problem, and they get hammered on.
