Had my truck on the weight scale today

damn, i thought i was heavy

 

My truck is officially obese...

 

the hood ornament on your Hilux needs to go on a diet, either that or you need to upgrade to 886 springs

 

Any suspension that can handle an extra 300 lbs of armor on the front hood with such a small amount of compression gets my $$.

 

"Lift it, fat chicks can't jump...."

 

When my 2012 was brand new I took it to the scales before I put one single thing in or on the truck. It's a DCLB sport it was full of fuel and it weighed 4380 exactly 2500 front and 1880 rear. I need to take it back now that I have added a lot of stuff.

 

lol, i went to the yard today also, weight varied a little, but not much at all, heres the ticket..

My DCLB 4x4 Sport with a full fuel tank and my commercial cap but no tools was 4800 lbs

 

wish i was a lil heavier like you, cuz that would mean i had a 4x4 too! i love my prerunner but a few times i wish i had the front pulling to

In Washington State the DOT Weigh stations leave the scale turned on when they're closed and point the display at the window. You can weigh your own truck. One of the weight cops told me the scales are accurate to +/- 20 lbs.

Im surprised our trucks are as light as they are , wish there was a 5.7 option !

Bet it would be wicked fun to drive !

 

Is there a thread where we can all post how fat we are?
I'm at 5020 with nobody inside and zero gear!
Im guessing 5800 fully loaded with gear, sometimes towing a light boat.... wtf. GVW is onl 5360 I've got a 4x4 access cab, OR

 

AC prerunner with me wieghs 4050 - 190 so 3860 full fuel tank. Stock. No bed mat no hitch receiver about 100 pounds off that.
