Had the truck two weeks , it runs better on 89 octane

    I run 93 in mine, it has a zero ethanol content.

    Just make sure ethanol is below 15%. Octane rating doesn't matter if it's 15 or below (87/89/91/93/94/100). E85 is a whole nother beast, and should only be used for vehicles that can support flex-fuel.
